Join fellow paddlers for a gentle kayak paddle on Leaser Lake as we search for waterfowl and early spring migrants. Kayaking allows us to access habitat from a different angle and to listen for unusual or hard-to-hear species. All participants will be given an introduction to kayaking that includes basic strokes, boat safety, and flat water maneuvers.
No experience required. All kayak and safety equipment provided. Certified lifeguard will guide. Dress in layers and bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water. Those with their own kayaks are welcome. Binoculars available.
$45 adults, $15 children
