Monarch Teacher Network (MTN) volunteers have taught this workshop across the US and Canada for the past 19 years. The workshop is designed for teachers, gardeners, naturalists, and other adults. It is a combination of classroom and field experiences showing how to use the monarch story to engage people of all ages with related environmental issues.
Participants learn a variety of skills and knowledge, including how to raise and tag monarchs/milkweed, and get $35 of teaching/rearing supplies. ACT 48 pending.
$50 per educator for the two-day workshop, Monday, July 13th & Tuesday, July 14th, 8:30 AM - 4 PM.
Breakfast refreshments will be provided. Please pack a lunch.
