Join Hawk Mountain staff on a guided hike by moonlight to North Lookout! Begin the program with a meet and greet with a LIVE nocturnal raptor in our Visitor Center Gallery, and learn about the nocturnal creatures and the adaptations that help them to hunt and survive at night.
Hike two miles of rough, rocky and uneven terrain with moderate inclines and descents. This hike demands moderate to advanced hiking experience. Participants should be comfortable walking on rocky trails in the dark. Please wear sturdy shoes for hiking, and bring water, a backpack, and snacks.
Headlamps are encouraged for hands-free hiking (red light lamps preferred!), but flashlights are welcomed as well.
