ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of birds, culture, history, and fun as we travel in style to Pittsburgh!

The first stop on our journey is Frank Lloyd Wright's renowned Fallingwater architectural masterwork where we will enjoy lunch and a guided tour of the most unique house in the world, the iconic symbol of people living in harmony with nature. Next, we will venture to Rachel Carson's Homestead for a private interpretive tour to celebrate the legacy of this revered environmental heroine who is so deeply rooted in Hawk Mountain history.

After settling in at Marriott's Springhill Suites for the evening, relax with free time or explore Pittsburgh's historic North Shore and nearby downtown dining. We will spend Sunday at the National Aviary, the nation's premier bird zoo and largest aviary. The National Aviary’s diverse collection comprises more than 500 birds representing more than 150 species from around the world, many of them threatened or endangered in the wild.

The National Aviary’s large walk-through habitats create an experience unlike any other – an intimate, up-close interaction between visitors and free-flying birds, including opportunities to hand-feed and meet many species rarely found in zoos anywhere else in the world. Our National Aviary adventure will also include a guided tour, a private catered lunch with bird encouters, and a live flight show!

Price: $490/person for private hotel room, $375/person for shared hotel room.
Price includes transportation, 1 night stay at Marriott's Springhill Suites, lunches and breakfast, and admission to all tours and exhibits.
