Our new series Wild Women on the Mountain empowers women to engage in outdoor adventures and learn new skills in a welcoming atmosphere!
Observe and experience the lake ecosystem in a new way while creating a memorable adventure with other women. The stillness of a lake gives us time to leisurely explore the shoreline, while learning about this aquatic ecosystem and exploring its amazing diversity in vegetation and wildlife.
No experience necessary. All participants will be given an introduction to canoeing that includes basic strokes, boat safety, and flat water maneuvers. All canoe and safety equipment provided. Certified lifeguard will guide. Each canoe holds up to 3 people. Those with their own canoes are welcome. Binoculars are available.
$30 per participant.
