Earn all but one requirement of the Bird Study merit badge at the world’s first Sanctuary for birds of prey! Where better to earn this merit badge? Certified merit badge counselors are on staff and will rotate scouts through stations and hikes to learn how to identify local birds by sight and sound, their anatomy, and how to use binoculars. Discover a hobby that will last a lifetime!
The missing requirement is #5: Identify 20 birds, because we cannot guarantee that the day of there will be that many present. If they do complete it ahead of time, our Director of Education can sign for it, and complete the badge. We will not have badges available.
