This class will go into the history of tea time and tea drinking around the world. Participants will learn a basic method of cutting and drying herbs from their garden for tea, as well as the difference between tea in a tea bag and fresh or dried herbal tea crafted at home.
Each participant will learn a basic formula for making their own herbal tea blends, and actually have the opportunity to mix one themselves. They will create a recipe and mix together dried herbs, taking a 2 oz. blend home with them.
Herbs used in class will be talked about for their benefits and properties. A unique blend from Sheep Hill Herbs will also be prepared for tasting at the class.
