Discover the variety of education opportunities available for both educators and students at the Sanctuary. Educators will tour the Irma P. Kahn Education Building, the visitor center, and the Acopian Center for Conservation Learning, all facilities utilized by our education team. Activities will include examples of programs featuring live raptors, Smart Board assessments, raptor trunks, distance education, new curricula, educator workshops, and more, followed by a guided hike to South Lookout via our international award-winning, ADA-approved Silhouette Trail. Meet scientists, educators, trainees, and interns along the way, while learning about internship opportunities for students and externships for teachers.
Educators will receive a complimentary lunch and classroom materials.
