Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and the Gabriel Chamber Ensemble have partnered to share the healing powers of music and nature on September 11 with Music on the Mountain, a one-hour presentation of classical selections held at 2 PM in the Sanctuary’s new accessible Amphitheater.
During the performance, the Gabriel Chamber Ensemble’s original string quartet will perform selections that feature themes of love and patriotism. Proceeds from this event will benefit both organizations. Light refreshments and a chance to meet the performers along with a live raptor will immediately follow in the Downstairs Amphitheater.
- Bench seating in amphitheater or limited folding chairs available.
- Seating is first come, first served.
- Feel free to bring your own folding camp chair.
- Dress for weather and consider bringing a hat and insect repellent.
- Heavy rain cancels. Rain date is Sunday, September 12 with notification by email.
- Ticket holders who are not vaccinated should consider masking.
