Nature's Cleanup Crew examines the lives of the busy scavengers who live among us in our cities, recycling the mountains of waste our consumer society leaves behind. With the help of thoughtful and passionate scientists who have come to love and understand them, we find out what makes scavengers tick. From Broadway to Berlin to Addis Ababa, we discover how creatures have adapted and thrive in an urban environment. By the end, we may not all see nature's cleanup crew as beautiful creatures the way some scientists do, but we're likely to be willing to give them the respect they deserve.
