Girl Scouts in grades 9-12 are invited to earn requirements for the Senior Sky badge and the Ultimate Recreation Challenge badge.
Scouts will hike the 4.3 mile River of Rocks trail down through the ridgetop forest, through coniferous woods, past a bog, and will arrive at the boulder field in time for lunch and to share sky stories from ancient cultures. Then climb up the switchbacks through the rhododendron thickets and across several small streams to the main Lookout Trail.

This trail is moderate in difficulty, and the terrain is rocky. Safety-wise protocols apply.
