In this FREE virtual program, celebrate Latino Conservation Week with multi-award-winning author, Soledad Caballero, a 2022 International Latino Book Award Gold Medalist and Best Poetry Book Award recipient. Caballero will discuss poetry and writing, and the inspiration birds offer. She will also discuss her book, I Was a Bell, which includes her poem "Someday I Will Visit Hawk Mountain" and other bird-inspired poems. At the same time, she'll focus on how central memories of birds have always been in her life.
This program is part of our Virtual Webinar Series, targeted towards adults and interested learners, but of course attendees of all ages and backgrounds are welcomed!
