Learn the basics of basket weaving while making a basket just like our early PA settlers used to do when faring in PA.
We won't take down the tree or use oak, but we'll use Rattan reed in the style once used here. Children will learn tool safely and 5 of the 8 basic steps in basket making. Color choices will be available. Children (and parent) will create family fun and a cute 5-inch basket with an optional handle - ready to use when complete! Led by professional weaver Debbi Zvanut who has 30 years of experience with teaching children basket skills.
Recommended for ages 6-13. Families welcome!
